The North Carolina native, Young Swift is one of the music’s industry’s newest and refreshing shining stars. A student of music, this young prolific rapper breathes new energy to the game of hip –hop with his dynamic mix of musical melodies and lyrical subject matter. Considered a rarity in Hip-Hop, Young Swift delivers quick-witted lyricism and a commanding stage presence of a seasoned professional.

Born in the early 90’s and a product of the Hip-Hop era, Young Swift attributes his music influences to artist such as Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, T.I. , Outkast & Young Jeezy. His affinity for music started at a very early age with the introduction of the Motown soul sound and R&B music fostered by his mother, also a singer and uncle, a talented and acclaimed music producer who in addition played musical instruments.

Young Swift relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2009 and created a joint partnership with close friends and mentors, A.B. and DJ Nando establishing the Charge Nation record label. Since entering the game, Swift, in a short time, has worked with many well-known artists and renowned producers such as 9th Wonder, Don Cannon, Drumma Boy, Maestro, Mike Will, No I.D, Shawty Redd, Sunny Digital and a host of others. These relationships have led to features and collaborations with many main stream artists and well respected industry professionals.

In 2010, Young Swift commanded further attention with two successful mixtape projects, 2010 and Guns & Roses with features by artists: J. Holiday, Rocko, Slick Pulla & Yung Joc. Prior to that, Swift enjoyed underground success under the Charge Nation label with the single “Cool Dude," in regular rotation on both commercial and XM Satellite Radio often uncommon for an unsigned artist.

His talents were recognized by Grammy award-winning artist, Akon, who signed Young Swift to his Kon Live Distribution label. Shortly after, Swift released his first independent project The Yellow Tape setting the stage as a new force to be reckoned with.

In February 2012, Young Swift signed a major deal with Island Def Jam. He is currently featured on Cash Out’s hit single “Turn Up” and his first single ‘I Like” featuring Young Jeezy are both currently charting and enjoying commercial success. With thousands of fans, management guidance, and relationships with mainstream producers and artists, every one are now paying close attention to Hip-Hop new heavy hitter and his name is Young Swift. -
